Welcome to my cancer blog! I had testicular cancer and I post about how I felt during and after treatment. Also, no... that person in the picture is not me, but it looked cool.
Big thanks to Deep Elm Records for giving me access to use "Everyday" by Carly Comando!!!! If you are new to the site, this is my blog where I post about myself post chemo from being diagnosed with Stage 1 Testicular Cancer. Have a great day!

Good morning! Welcome to my blog and welcome back if you are returning. It has been 24 weeks since my first and last round of chemo after being diagnosed with testicular cancer. One of the side effects that was more annoying than not was alopecia. Alopecia means the loss of hair. Now my hair is finally back and I have this blog open so I could answer any questions for people that are either going through the same thing or know someone who is going through chemo. Anyways, I'm always available, have a great day!
Happy October!!! All is good, my hair could now be spiked? I have a question mark at the end because it is still curly from the chemo. Besides that, everything is good and nothing else to report. Have a great day!
Good morning!!! Back from Hawaii and into reality. As you could see from this not too flattering picture, my acne is back! Technically good news, because acne is a good indicator that my testosterone levels are good. I'm very happy that I could start spiking my hair again. I'm getting a lot of compliments from my friends and family like that I am looking back to normal! Not much to report besides that, so have a great one!
Good morning everybody!!! Aloha from Hawaii, I'm on vacation, so I'll keep this brief. My hair is becoming fuller and fuller after chemo, the only thing on my body that could indicate that I went through chemo is the PICC line scar on my arm. Gotta go have fun, have a great one!
Good afternoon! This is Leo posting a quick update. I had my blood pressure and labs done last week and everything was great! Eating healthier and exercising everyday has been a tremendous help. And I know it may be hard to see, but I did get a haircut. Now my hair is not curly, but almost back to normal... just black instead of brown. Anyways, I hope you all have a great day!
Hello and good morning!!! So today, I tried something new... putting product into my hair. As you can see it worked!!! My hair is a bit curly now, but I could comb it back finally!!!! I've been waiting a long time to style my hair again and I finally have the opportunity!!! I'm very happy and finally feel like my life is almost completely back to normal after having testicular cancer. Anyways, just a quick update, I hope you all have a great day!
Hello and good morning! So far it's been 16 weeks since the chemotherapy and I went to the oncologist for an update on my blood work. I'm still cancer free!!! I'm very happy and am keeping up my diet (no fast food and more antioxidants) as well as exercising. Please feel free to message me if you have any questions or concerns.
Good evening! This morning I just got my blood drawn so that next week my Doctor will tell me if my tumor marker levels are okay. Fingers crossed! I got another haircut today, because when the hair on my sides get too long, they tend to get really curly. As you can see, some parts of my hair are thicker than others especially the sides. I hope this trend continues so that I could spike my hair into a fohawk again, that would be cool. But my hair is still curly and tends to kind of clump together. It will be very interesting to see how my hair will be during the winter holidays. If you have any questions or comments, please shoot me a message!
